1984 is here: Facebook-owned Instagram is actively silencing free speech by blocking “anti-vaccine” hashtags

Vaccines are so obviously and undeniably safe and effective (sarcasm) that Big Tech feels it necessary to continue to wage a full-scale censorship war against all information about vaccination that in any way challenges the Church of Mainstream Medicine’s official vaccine doctrines.

The Church of Instagram, as one of the latest examples, run by the Mother Church of Facebook, is doing its part to control the official vaccine narrative by blocking all hashtags that it deems as being “anti-vaccine.”

According to reports, Instagram is rapidly removing all such “anti-vaccine” content from its search and “explore” features, meaning users interested in accessing this type of information will no longer have the ability to find it.

Instagram users interested in viewing the scientific work of expert gastroenterologist Dr. Andrew Wakefield, for instance, will no longer be able to do so because Instagram has categorized the issue of autism having any connection to vaccines, for which Dr. Wakefield is credited, as “misinformation.”

Instagram is also targeting specific hashtags like “#vaccinescauseautism” that link to science and other content questioning the official narrative about vaccine safety, claiming that the science is already “settled” on the matter.

“As part of our work to address health-related misinformation on Instagram, we’re looking at ways to minimize recommendations of this content and accounts that post it across Instagram – including in ‘Suggested For You,’ Explore and hashtags,” an official Instagram spokesperson revealed in a recent statement.

Some of these “short-term measures” include censoring politically-incorrect hashtags, and targeting user accounts that try to educate other Instagram users about vaccines from an independent perspective.

“We noted that this process would take place over several weeks,” the spokesperson added. “But as we take action in the short-term, we know that fighting misinformation is a long-term commitment.”

Instagram is the worst social media app for young people’s mental health, scientists discover

All of this is why Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, decided to introduce Brighteon.com to the world, where censorship and digital “burning-burning” isn’t allowed.

In fact, Brighteon.com encourages users to upload content that the tech brigade finds “offensive” or “incorrect,” recognizing that free speech and the First Amendment are under attack like never before.

Things are getting so bad in social media-land that even mainstream scientists are now taking notice, including in the United Kingdom where social scientists uncovered the ugly truth about what social media is doing to the minds of young people.

Researchers from the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) learned that many of the world’s top social media platforms are destroying the mental health of today’s youth – and Instagram is apparently the worst of them all.

“Social media has been described as more addictive than cigarettes and alcohol, and is now so entrenched in the lives of young people that it is no longer possible to ignore it when talking about young people’s mental health issues,” warns Shirley Cramer CBE, chief executive of RSPH.

In categories ranging from awareness and empathy, to depression and loneliness, to self-identity and community-building, Cramer and her team found that social media platforms like Instagram are lowering the bar from detrimental to catastrophic.

“It’s that all of the social media sites, on some level, are simply terrible for people’s mental health, specifically for the youth,” explains our own David Williams about this societal scourge.

“And when pitted against one another, the photo-sharing social media app Instagram ranked worst of all for young people’s mental well-being.”
